General Information

All work is hand-thrown, decorated, fired and glazed by Steven Summerville, I have no assistants.

All work is food, microwave and dishwasher safe. Only pie dishes may be used in a conventional oven. To use in oven: prepare pie or casserole and place room- temperature pie/casserole into COLD oven. Placing cold pottery into a pre-heated oven causes thermal shock and subsequently, broken pots!

We recommend when purchasing larger pieces (i.e. pasta bowls or cake plates) that you hand wash them to avoid thermal shock in the dishwasher.

Shipping
Shipping and handling charges are as follows: $15.00 or 20% of total purchase whichever is greater. Virginia residents add 4.5% sales tax. We arrange for pick-up providing we're in your area at a craft show in a timely manner. Currently we ship to Continental U.S. only. If demand warrants, we will ship international.

Payment Options
For payment Virginia's Dream accepts Visa, Master Card and American Express and Personal checks. Checks need to clear before we ship. Charges are automatically deposited and authorized the day of shipment.

There are no volume discounts. I try to keep prices as low as possible and only raise them when absolutely necessary.

Refund Policy
Virginia's Dream does not give cash refunds but will happily exchange pots for in house credit.

About Colors and Patterns
All colors on this website are as true as technology allows. It's important to note all of the decoration is liquid clay drawn on free-hand with a needle-nosed bottle. This technique is hundreds of years old and renders a slightly raised pattern. Also, the patterns change or evolve as the years pass by. So when ordering keep this in mind. For example, you can get an item just as it's pictured on the website, or you can let me pick the patterns and be pleasantly surprised. Most of my established customers prefer the latter.

Feel free to visit us not only on the website, but at major craft shows around the nation (mostly east coast). Studio visits are by appointment only.

At Virginia's Dream, I strive to make the best work I can make for an affordable price. We use my work daily and try to improve anything with the work that needs improving. I work very hard to make my customers happy. I'm proud to say I have strong customer satisfaction and many, many repeat buyers.

We hope you enjoy my pots as much as I enjoyed making them!

Thanks. Steven Summerville
